As Seen In Scrapbooking Memories Magazine Vol 18 No 12 - "#streetart"

Sometimes you have to create with what is around you.

It could be leftover bits.

It could be excess paint.

It can all be used to make something worthwhile.

And it is definitely how this page came together.

As Seen In Scrapbooking Memories Magazine Vol 18 No 12 - "You Are My Happy"

Last year I was fortunate enough to attend the retreat Escape 2 Create.
One of my table buddies was my lovely friend
Louise Nelson.
She had created some stamps
And gave me a card she had created
(saying it reminder her of Dave and I).
I used it straight away and made this page,
Which has recently been published in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine.

Thank you again Louise!

REVIEW - "Bunchems"

Brought to you by Nuffnang and Funtastic "Bunchems"
 The postman arrived.
We beat him to the door and the girls were excited to see
That the package he delivered contained "Bunchems".

None of us had heard of these before
But the box certainly had us intrigued and excited to create something fun.

The Mega Pack contains more than 400 pieces and a book of ideas.
There are 8 different colours to choose from

And 36 pieces to dress up your creations.

"Squish 'em, connect 'em, create 'em"
The plastic "burr" spheres stick together
(they reminded us of hair curlers)
and easily pull apart for more creating.
Got to love reusable craft supplies!!!

The accessories simply stick into a specially designed hole in the spheres
So you can make endless amounts of characters or creatures.
"If you can think it, you can create it with Bunchems"

Bunchems are a great way for kids to use not only
Their imagination and creative construction skills
But also work on their fine motor skills
And engage in role play.

Bunchems do come with some warnings.
Not meant for children under 4 years of age
They are a choking hazard
AND
They can get caught on loose clothing or hair.
The company have released a tutorial for what to do if this happens
The video can be viewed HERE
 http://bunchems.com/support.php?loc=en_AU

I highly recommend using them under strict adult supervision
Because they are lots of fun and you can join in the creativity too!!
Bunchems certainly are a great way to spend time together
As a family or with friends.

They are a great way to create without a mess.
No glue required
Just your imagination!

Our only criticism is that the accessory pack
Needed a pirate hat and eye patch!!
That would have made the pack complete!!
But all in all we all agreed
BUNCHEMS ARE FUN!

Bunchems are currently available at Big W
You can purchase them HERE

Disclosure: This is not a paid sponsored post.
I received a Bunchems pack,
to use for review purposes,
and all opinions expressed are purely my own.

As Seen In Scrapbooking Memories Magazine Vol 18 No 11 - "I See You"

I was totally bowled over
When I had an email saying
"We are putting together our SUPERSTARS issue
and your name was raised on our Facebook page
as someone whose work is greatly admired for its story telling!
We’d love it if you’d consider partaking in our
‘Style Stars’ feature for an upcoming issue."

Well, thank you whoever put my name out there.
Thank you for your admiration
And the opportunity to create
And share another story.

To tie in with my story
I used vellum to type up my journaling.

It is hard to read
But that's what I wanted.

I want you to be drawn right in to this story.
I want you to have to see beyond.
I want you to really see.

I want you to feel the invisible.
I want you to see it.

Because we all have that feeling sometimes.

And that is when we need someone nearby
To tell us we are visible.
We are seen.
We are important.

So that's the story.
Thank you for letting me share it.

Jot Magazine - April Mood Board Challenge

Totally loved the new Mood Board challenge at Jot Magazine

So had fun creating with it.

Pulling out some old stash

And mixed it with some new.

Added some old favourites
To help tell a fun story

A memory we will talk about for a long time to come!

Long after those yellow shorts are gone!
