I was super grateful to have had a page in the very last issue.
From the February 2014 publication
Inspired by the One Little Word challenge,
The word being Fierce.
I took this spin on the word.
Because sometimes words allow you to do that.

Trying out different colour combinations can often lead to inspiration.
This one threw me out of my comfort zone.
But I had a story to tell and I wasn’t going to let a little colour combo stop me.
So I went with it.
The colours still haven’t “grabbed me”
Sometimes that happens.
And that’s ok with me.
A few weeks ago it was “Book Week” at school.
You were able to dress up as a character from a favourite book.
I was working so it meant I could dress up too.
I pulled out some old products to make this page.
Adding them to some new Basic Grey products.
Added some of my Cocoa Daisy scribble stamps, drops of orange nail polish and some doodling
And tried a different colour combination.
Just for fun.
Sometimes words can scare you.
But sometimes they can set you free.
I love the One Little Word challenge
Because it allows words to inspire.
Sometimes words can be inside your head.
Sometime words can fill you head.
Sometimes we let those words fill our lives
Sometimes we need to let go of words.
Sometimes we need to hold on to words.
Sometimes we need to allow the right words to fill our lives.
Sometimes we need to hear words.
Sometimes we need to speak words.
Sometimes we need to feel words.
Sometimes it takes just one little word to open up a whole conversation.
